My Story

Hopefully I get to update the story of myself as current as possible.

Now in 2016 in the field of yoga, I'm an E-RYT (Experienced registered yoga teacher) 200 & RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance. I came from a background of professional dancer while I was in Thailand, then moved to American, and walked into the very first yoga class in 2001. I remembered vividly at the end of the class, my soul felt so at peace with the moment, so I knew then I will keep yoga in my life forever. Since then, I have to say I'm doing a very good job at being persistent with my yoga practice.  In 2005, I was certified, and passionately continue advancing my knowledge, my practice, and my teaching.

As much as I enjoy the physical element of yoga, yoga to me is a spiritual practice. It reminds me to breath. It helps me to remember to observe, and put things in a perspective of not take things personally. Its practice guides me to find my true self and love every bit of myself. It also has been helping me tremendously to find and sustain my peace, joy, and freedom.

When it comes to teaching classes and connects with students, my passion and dedication is to instruct students to practice yoga from a place of empowerment and well-being. I am renowned for my skill to break down challenging postures into component parts and teach them progressively so that students can practice at their level.

I challenge my students to understand the mechanics of their physical bodies, while providing guidance for those who choose to deepen a spiritual practice. I am also known for creative sequencing, and real-life philosophy.  My teaching style that is precise, inspired and cheerful.
